AMD Sempron 3400+ CPU Review |
|
Overview:The Sempron 3400+ processor is an inexpensive Socket 754 64-bit chip running at 2.0 GHz and including 256K of level 2 cache in addition to the 64K of level 1 instruction cache and 64K of L1 data cache. It uses a 1600 MHz system bus with support for DDR400 single channel memory and offers excellent performance while consuming only 64 watts of power.
This CPU is a good-performing, budget-priced AMD64 chip which will work in the Shuttle SN85G4 V3 small form factor barebones system.
The main part of the Sempron market appeal is related to its low price and high value, and even though the Sempron 3400+ is the top performer in the AMD entry-level line, relative pricing actually took a slight dip. Read more about the Sempron 3400+... |
